Start Time: 10.00 (Start time is when the walk commences. Please arrive earlier to ensure you are ready for the start.)
Walk description:
This 12 mile walk on Cranborne Chase follows tracks and droves and visits Vernditch Chase before descending to Bowerchalke and returning along the valley to Broad Chalke. There are fine views on this walk.
How much will it cost?
£7.50 paid on the day by cash or card.
Walk Level:
This is a moderate walk with approximately 900 feet of ascent and some steady descents.
How long will it take?
This walk will take approximately 5 hours 30 minutes. During the walk we will stop for a picnic lunch (not provided).
Equipment
You will need suitable footwear and outdoor clothing (not denim jeans) and waterproofs.
You should also bring drinking water and lunch / snacks.

Toilets
There are no public toilets on this walk.
Refreshments
You will need to bring you own food and drink. There is a village shop in Broadchalke (you should check opening hours – we do not pass the shop so please visit before the start of the walk.)
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are only allowed by prior agreement and must be kept on a lead throughout the walk. Please add details of your dog in the comments section of the booking form and Fred will contact you.

About Your Walk Leader:
Walking Moonraker walks are led by Fred. He is a qualified Mountain Training Association Lowland Leader with an Outdoor First Aid certificate and has appropriate public liability and professional indemnity insurance to lead lowland walks. He has also achieved the National Navigation Award Scheme Gold Standard of navigation.
